The picture above the doorway is a version of Connecticut Valley which became a print. The dog was our then shelter dog called Shadow. The Christmas before when I was commissioned to do the card for the Clintons  I was given the range of the White House to see how the decorations looked and was almost arrested by the Secret Service – I guess I looked dangerously nosy.

The card and the print of it was such a success, we were asked to do the Blue and the Green Room for two subsequent Christmases.

Coming soon: Thomas McKnight's artwork to be featured in several new film projects

Thomas McKnight's artwork will be featured in several new upcoming major film projects, the first of which, "Straight Outta Compton" will be released in theaters on August 14, 2015. Mr. McKnight's "Coconut Grove" print will be used in the film, which tells the story of the pioneering rap group N.W.A. 

In 2016 Thomas McKnight's images will be featured in an original HBO film titled "Confirmation" which is the story of Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearings and stars Kerry Washington as Anita Hill. Just announced, in early 2017 Mr. McKnight's work will be seen in "Mena" the true story of a TWA pilot who is recruited by the CIA and stars Tom Cruise and is directed by Doug Liman.
